About the Job:
ZS is seeking a Research Scientist to join our Discovery – Medical & Scientific Expertise Center. In this role, you will work closely with clients and internal teams to drive impactful insights and analyses, contributing to cutting-edge scientific research and technology projects.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients and internal teams to understand scientific questions and provide actionable insights.
- Utilize scientific expertise to identify and test hypotheses through wet lab experimentation.
- Provide analyses, recommendations, and expertise in drug discovery and pre-clinical studies.
- Contribute to technology projects focused on scientific research and data analysis.
- Collaborate on the development of tools and platforms for scientific consulting and research studies.
- Synthesize findings and communicate results effectively to clients and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree, or master’s degree in science, computational genomics, genetics, molecular biology, cell biology, systems biology, immunology, or related discipline, with a strong academic record in analytic and quantitative coursework.
- Proficiency in various data domains such as genomics, clinical trials, and medical devices data.
- Experience in scientific data management and analysis.
- Proficient with tools like AWS, SQL, and R.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and client service skills.
