Walk-in Interview for Scientist B (Biotechnology/Life Science) – ICMR-National Institute of Malaria Research, New Delhi
The ICMR-National Institute of Malaria Research (NIMR), a premier research institute under the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), is conducting a walk-in interview / written test for the purely temporary project post of Scientist B. This position is tenable at ICMR-NIMR in New Delhi for a specified project duration.
Eligible and interested candidates who meet the required essential qualifications, experience, and age criteria are invited to attend the walk-in interview / written test at the following venue and time:

Schedule for Walk-in Interview/Personal Discussion:
- Position: Scientist B
- Date of Interview: 29th April, 2025
- Time of Interview: From 11:00 A.M onwards
- Time of Registration & Verification of Documents: 9:30 A.M to 10:30 A.M
- Consolidated Salary: ₹ 65,000/- per month (fixed)
- Essential Qualification: Post Graduate degree in Biotechnology or Life Science subject from a recognized university with two years of relevant research experience.
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 40 years as on the date of the walk-in interview.
Selection Process:
- Candidates must register and undergo document verification between 9:30 A.M and 10:30 A.M on the specified date.
- The interview will be held on the same day after registration and verification of documents. Candidates arriving after the scheduled registration time will not be permitted to participate.
- In case the number of candidates exceeds 30 for the Scientist B post, a written examination will be conducted for shortlisting. Only shortlisted candidates will be considered for the interview/personal discussion on the same day.
- The final selection will be based on the performance in the interview/personal discussion only (the written examination is solely for shortlisting purposes, if required).
Terms and Conditions:
- Interested and eligible candidates must bring the duly filled-in prescribed application form (available on the websites mentioned below) along with all required supportive documents for proof of date of birth, qualifications, and experience at the time of the walk-in interview.
- Incomplete applications, applications not in the prescribed format, and applications lacking the necessary supporting documents will be summarily rejected. Qualifications and experience should be in the relevant discipline/field and from a reputed institution/organization recognized by the relevant authority.
- Experience will be calculated from the date of completion of the minimum essential educational qualification.
- Submission of any incorrect or false information during the walk-in interview/personal discussion process will lead to immediate disqualification at any stage.
- The Director reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies as per requirement.
- The Director, NIMR reserves the right to fill or not fill the advertised post.
- Candidates must clearly write the Name of the Project on the top of their application form.
- No benefits such as provident fund, Leave Travel Concession, or Medical Claim will be provided as the posts are purely on a temporary contractual basis.
- The age limit and experience will be considered as of the date of the walk-in interview/personal discussion.
- No Travel Allowance (TA) or Dearness Allowance (DA) will be paid for attending the walk-in interview/personal discussion/written test.
- Meeting the essential qualification and experience criteria does not guarantee selection.
