Key Responsibilities

Develop and optimize stable cell lines from aquatic species.

Perform primary cell isolation, adaptation to suspension culture, and differentiation into muscle/fat cells.

Conduct experiments to assess growth, viability, and cellular functions.

Standardize cell line characterization protocols using microscopy, flow cytometry, and molecular assays.

Source aquatic species and handle specimens for cell line derivation.

Collaborate across teams to align bioprocess and cell development workflows.

Document experimental results and contribute to scientific publications.
Core Competencies & Skills for Cell Line Development Scientist Job:

Strong expertise in animal cell culture, stem cells, and suspension systems.

Experience in fish or crustacean cell lines is highly desirable.

Familiarity with bioreactors, serum-free media, and scalable systems is a plus.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a startup environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Biology, Life Sciences or related field with 2+ years of relevant industrial experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Life Sciences or related field with 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
