Role Overview
We are seeking a Research Associate to join our dynamic R&D team. This is an on-site role based in Kochi, Kerala. The ideal candidate will be involved in developing new assays, validating existing products, and supporting cross-functional projects aimed at improving product performance and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
● Design, plan, and execute experiments for assay development and validation
● Analyze and interpret experimental data; prepare technical reports and documentation
● Work closely with cross-functional teams including Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, QC, and Production
● Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
● Participate in troubleshooting and optimization of assay components and processes
● Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in R&D and manufacturing workflows
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field
● 1–2 years of hands-on experience in diagnostics, assay development, or molecular biology research
● Proficiency in experimental design, data analysis, and documentation
● Strong understanding of molecular biology, bioengineering, and diagnostic technologies
● Familiarity with quality systems such as ISO 13485 and GMP standards
● Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
● Experience in the diagnostics or healthcare industry is an added advantage
