- Job Role: Research Associate – Sustainable Agriculture
- Location: TERI-Gram
- Salary: ₹60,000–₹70,000 per month
- Experience: 1 – 3 Years
- Application Deadline: April 20, 2025
- Experienced with the microbiological techniques and basic understanding working with entomopathogenic fungi
- Carrying out cultivation and maintenance of different microbial cultures required in the project
- Should be able to carry out the biochemical and microbiological assays as required
- Inoculation of virus, bacteria, fungi, nematode & other pathogens in field, green house & growth chambers
- Should be able to identify various disease symptoms in vegetable & row crops at various stages of crop growth & development in fields
- Should be able to Identify the causal organisms
- Should be able to collect routine data and prepare project report for various size research projects as per the project timelines
Qualification
- PhD degree in any area of Plant Pathology- Agriculture pathology with good academic record.
- 1-2-year experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations
Skills
- Should be able to work independently and in a team to make sure the project is on track
- Exposure to farmer field condition is desirable
- Hands-on knowledge of Microbiology techniques (cultivation of fungi and bacteria)- fermentation and downstream processing
- Highly motivated, solution-oriented, and a good team player
