Job Purpose:
We are seeking motivated master’s level scientists (MS, MTech, MSc, etc.) to join the Translational Medicine team at the Biocon Bristol Myers Squibb Research Center in Bangalore, India. The key responsibilities of this role include serving as an execution arm for preclinical support of asset programs, conducting mechanism of action-based studies, and leading differentiation from standard of care and competitive therapeutics, among other essential tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preclinical/laboratory experiments on late-stage BMS portfolio compounds
- Deliver data to support translational strategies, including biomarkers and patient selection hypotheses
- Assist in designing experiments and collaborative projects
- Maintain comprehensive records and reports experimental findings
Educational Qualification:
Masters with at least 2 years of relevant work experience across immunology, oncology, heme-oncology focus areas. Industry experience is a plus. Multiple positions can range up to 6 years of experience.
Technical/Functional Skills
- Understand design, setup, and execution of in vivo pharmacology models
- Hands-on experience with in vivo techniques and tissue/cell culture
- Knowledge and experience with gene expression methods and cellular assays
- Excellent communication skills and data integrity competency

2-6 years
Behavioral Skills:
- Detail-oriented with high standards of data entry
- Adaptive to changing timelines and goals
- Team-oriented and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
- Experience working with patient samples is a plus
