Summary
This position is a member of the Global Patient Safety (GPS) – Technology, Systems Support team. The Safety Systems Analyst manages systems and databases to support consistent and accurate pharmacovigilance data collection
, data analysis, report generation, and submission tracking.Responsibilities a Safety Systems Analyst:
- Supporting the maintenance of the current pharmacovigilance safety system (ARGUS) and other GPS systems
- Ability to work flexible hours, supporting users in different time zones
- Collaboration with IT teams, Vendor resources for planning and implementing system changes
- Review and notification of routine modifications to the pharmacovigilance safety system
- Perform periodic review of administrator data
- Responsible for creating, verifying, and tracking complex change requests
- Drive consistent interpretation of system-related conventions
- Maintain and manage SharePoint sites for tracking system requests
- Recognize, prioritize & escalate potential safety/compliance issues
Qualifications Required for Safety Systems Analyst Job:
- Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills related to Pharmacovigilance database systems
- Strong knowledge of Pharmacovigilance systems (e.g., ARISg, ARGUS) and database structure
- Strong technical system skills (Word processing, Excel, Powerpoint, SharePoint, SQL)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, life sciences, or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance Systems Management or related area
