Job Description for Research Associate-I:
- Position: Research Associate-I
- Emoluments: Rs. 58,000/- per month plus 27% HRA
- Qualification: Ph. D. in Plant Sciences/Life Sciences/Biochemistry or equivalent
- Experience: Advanced molecular biology, Cell biology, Microscopy, Protein Chemistry, Proteomics study, Plant maintenance, Plant transformation, Statistical analysis, Bioinformatics analysis
- Duration: Temporary, co-terminus with the project
Qualification Research Associate-I:
Candidates having Ph.D. degrees in Plant Sciences/Life Sciences and Biochemistry (or equivalent subject) and fulfilling the guidelines/norms of DST-OM number DST/PCPM/Z-06/2022 are eligible to apply.
Candidates should have research experience/skillset in:

Extensive experience in microscopy

Proteomics study

Plant maintenance and plant transformation

Bioinformatics analysis

Terms & Conditions for Research Associate-I:

The position is completely on a temporary basis and co-terminus with the project.

The fellowship amount is as sanctioned in the project and as per DST/DBT norms.

The initial appointment will be for one year or till the tenability of the project (whichever is earlier), and may be extended/curtailed based on performance and discretion of the Competent Authority.

NIPGR reserves the right to select the candidate based on qualifications and experience.

Reservation shall be as per Govt. of India norms.

The appointment may be terminated at any time by giving one month’s notice by either side.

No claim for a regular position at NIPGR will be entertained.
