Job Posting: Senior Research Associate in cell therapy
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Research Associate to join our Cell Therapy team in Lonavala. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the processing, testing, and documentation of stem cells, as well as contributing to the preparation of regulatory dossiers. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and rapidly evolving field.
Responsibilities:
Cell Processing:
- Assist in the isolation, culture, expansion, and cryopreservation of stem cells.
- Perform cell counts, viability assays, and other related procedures.
- Maintain aseptic techniques and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Quality Control and Testing:
- Conduct quality control assays, including flow cytometry, PCR, and ELISA, to evaluate cell characteristics and functionality.
- Perform sterility testing and endotoxin assays.
- Document and analyze experimental data accurately.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintain detailed and accurate laboratory records, including batch records, SOPs, and experimental data.
- Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations.
Regulatory Submissions:
- Contribute to the compilation and organization of data for regulatory dossiers.
- Assist in the preparation of documentation required for regulatory submissions.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.
Laboratory Maintenance:
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist in the preparation of reagents and solutions.
- Assist in inventory control of lab supplies.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cell Biology, Immunology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Prior laboratory experience, preferably in cell culture or molecular biology, is desirable.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and cell culture principles.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and techniques, such as flow cytometry, PCR, and ELISA.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of GLP and GMP is a plus.
