IIT Delhi’s Industrial Research & Development Unit (IRDU) is inviting applications from Indian nationals for a project appointment under a joint project with AIIMS, Delhi. The project focuses on developing Magnetron plasma-controlled Ag-doped tricalcium phosphate films for testing antimicrobial efficacy for orthopaedic implants.
Applications from Indian nationals are invited for a project appointment under the following project. Appointment shall be on a contractual basis with consolidated pay, renewable yearly or upto the duration of the project, whichever is earlier.

Essential Qualifications:
- First class M. Tech/M,S. in Biotechnology/ Nanotechnology/ Microbiology/ Solid state Physics; OR
- Second class M. Tech/M.S. in Biotechnology/ Nanotechnology/ Microbiology/ Solid State Physics with PhD in M. Tech/M.S. in Biotechnology/ Nanotechnology/ Microbiology/ Solid State Physics.
- Aforementioned qualifrcation(s) must be from a recognized Board/ University/ institute.
Desirable Qualifications: Qualified in GATE/CSIR-UGC-NET including lectureship or equivalent examination, Candidates with previous experience in thin film deposition (preferably plasma-based physical or chemical vapor deposition), material analysis/ characterization using different analytical techniques, study of biomaterials, in vitro screening, and experience in scientific writing as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications will be preferred
Age Limit: The upper Age Limit is 35 Years (relaxable as Per Gol Rules); All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
Consolidated Fellowship/ Pay-slab: Rs. 56,000 per month plus HRA @30%
