Project Assistant – II Position at CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar

ONLINE INTERVIEW

Applications are invited for the Project Assistant – II to work in the sponsored project entitled: “Process development for bioremediation of industrial wastewater from steel industry using microalgae and its effective utilization of microalgal biomass Production at a scale of 50 Kg biomass production at Jindal Steel Power Plant, Angul, Odisha” for one year.

Project Details:

• Position: Project Assistant – II (1 Post)

• Location: May involve deputation to Jindal Steel and Power Plant, Angul, Odisha

• Emoluments: ₹20,000/- per month (consolidated)

• Duration: One year (purely temporary and co-terminus with the project)

• Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 17/04/2025 (Age relaxation as per CSIR rules)

Essential Qualifications:

• B.Sc. Degree in Botany

  , Biotechnology, or Microbiology

Desirable Experience:

• Prior experience in Microalgal Cultivation or Valorization of Microalgal Biomass

Job Requirement:

• Strong competency in microalgal cultivation and biomass valorization

• Willingness to work on-site and demonstrate process development at industrial scale
