Plant Genetic Resources Research Vacancy Details:
Position: Senior Research Fellow
Monthly Salary: Rs. 37,000/- per month + HRA (as
per ICAR norms)Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Plant Genetic Resources/ Agroforestry/ Forestry /Horticulture/ Plant
Breeding/ Soil Science/ Agronomy/ Agricultural Physics/ Environmental Science with a minimum of 4 years of Bachelor’s degree.
OR,
Postgraduate degree in basic sciences with a 3-year Bachelor’s degree, a 2-year Master’s degree, and 2 years of research experience, and NET/GATE qualification awarded by UGC/CSIR/ICAR /equivalent certificate through a national-level examination conducted by the Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions.
Desirable: Working knowledge of PGR management, programming language, and App
development.
Age Limit: Upper age limit 35 years, age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/Women & 3 years for OBC, is applicable as per the Govt of India/ICAR Rules.

- No TA/DA and official accommodation will be provided for appearing in the interview.
- The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, selected candidate has no right to claim for regularization or absorption whatsoever in ICAR/NBPGR.
- The decision of Director of the institute will be final and binding in all aspects.
- The Director reserves the right to terminate the contract of job as mentioned above, even before the completion of the project for which no appeal thereof shall be made.
