Advertisement for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in DST-SERB funded project
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the JRF position for the below-mentioned project funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) – Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB). The position is purely temporary in nature and co-terminus with the project. The period of employment may be initially for 01 year and renewed up to the end of project duration based on satisfactory performance. The essential qualification & experience etc. required for the position have been mentioned below.

Project Title: Design and development of a non-invasive controlled release sol-gel based dual drug delivery system for simultaneous alleviation of intraocular pressure and retinal ganglionic cells degeneration in glaucoma
Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Salary: Rs. 31,000 per month + Applicable House Rental Allowances. Approximate emoluments may be Rs. 38,440 per month [OR] As per DST-SERB norms.
Qualification
Essential: M.S. (Pharm), M. Pharm, M. Tech or Equivalent (with specialization in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology & Toxicology, Biotechnology or Life Sciences from the recognized Board/University/Institute).
Candidates (i) qualified in GATE/NET/GPAT or any other national level examinations; and (ii) having experience in Drug delivery, Animal studies, Histopathological techniques, Molecular biology techniques, In vitro mammalian cell culture techniques will be given preference.
Age limit:
