Sid’s Farm is seeking a dedicated and skilled Microbiologist to become an integral part of our quality assurance team.
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Microbiologist at Sid’s Farm, your key responsibilities will include:
- Microbial Analysis: Conducting routine and thorough microbiological testing of milk and various dairy products, ensuring strict compliance with established safety and quality standards. This includes a strong understanding and application of RTPCR techniques.
- Swab Analysis: Performing regular swabbing and detailed analysis of production areas to effectively monitor and maintain optimal hygiene levels.
- Shelf-Life Studies: Designing and meticulously executing shelf-life studies to accurately determine the microbial stability and overall quality of our products over designated periods.
- Procedure Development: Proactively developing and implementing innovative new microbial testing procedures to continuously enhance our detection and analytical capabilities.
- Record Maintenance: Accurately and diligently documenting all testing results, detailed procedures, and comprehensive quality records, ensuring full compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and maintaining up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Thoroughly investigating any microbial deviations and instances of contamination, identifying the underlying root causes, and effectively implementing appropriate corrective and preventative actions.
- Regulatory Adherence: Staying consistently updated with the latest industry regulations and evolving standards, ensuring that all laboratory practices and procedures fully align with ISO, HACCP, and FSSAI guidelines.
- Hygiene Monitoring: Overseeing and strictly enforcing stringent hygiene standards within all production and laboratory areas to proactively prevent any potential contamination.
