Key Responsibilities:
As the Manager, Fast Trak Validation at Cytiva, your core responsibilities will encompass:
- Project Management: Leading and providing expert review for intermediate to complex technical projects, ensuring consistent on-time delivery and adherence to project timelines.
- Customer Consultation: Taking the lead in technical consultations with customers, proactively maintaining open and effective communication channels, and delivering comprehensive training programs.
- Teamwork and Communication: Effectively coordinating laboratory workstreams, maintaining clear and concise communication within the team and with stakeholders, and actively contributing to the achievement of team objectives.
- People Management: Leading engaging team discussions, clearly setting performance objectives for team members, diligently monitoring individual and team performance, and providing valuable guidance and support for career development.
- Process Optimization: Championing and driving process optimization initiatives through the application of Danaher Business System (DBS) tools and actively supporting internal project work aimed at continuous improvement.
Requirements:
To be considered for this leadership role, you should possess the following:
- Experience and Education: A Master’s degree or a PhD in a relevant Science discipline with a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience within the Biotech industry.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in a wide range of laboratory techniques and sophisticated measurement methods relevant to the biotech field.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to effectively lead and manage a small team, including setting clear expectations, monitoring performance, and providing constructive feedback.
- Customer Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, tailored explicitly for engaging in detailed technical discussions with customers and stakeholders.
- Business Acumen: A solid understanding of business unit strategies and the ability to align technical work with broader organizational goals.
Additional Qualifications (Preferred):
- Possessing two or more years of direct people management experience, including coaching and developing team members.
