Position: Project Research Scientist-I

Project Details:

Project Title: Structure-based development of key antimalarial inhibitors/drugs against Plasmodium metacaspases and validation in vitro and in vivo systems

Department: School of Life Sciences, JNU, New Delhi- 110067

Project Tenure: 3 years

Job Description:

Proficiency in

Gene cloning, Site-directed mutagenesis, Protein expression in E. coli & Yeast systems, protein refolding & purification, Crystallization & X-ray structure analysis, Modeling & Dynamics simulation work, and in vivo analysis.

Essential Qualifications for JNU Project Scientist-I

Ph.D. in Life Science/Structural Biology

Desirable Qualification:

Candidates with prior experience in gene cloning, protein expression, crystallization, and dynamics simulation work will be given preference.

Age Limit:

Up to 35 years (Age relaxation applicable)

Fellowship for JNU Project Scientist-I Role:

Project Scientist-I (Non-medical) – @Rs. 56,000/- +HRA 30% @Rs. 16,800, based on satisfactory performance every three months.
