Primary Accountabilities
In this critical leadership role, your primary accountabilities will include:
- Local PV System Implementation and Maintenance: Ensuring the robust implementation and ongoing maintenance of the local pharmacovigilance (PV) system in full compliance with all applicable regulations and Roche global standards.
- Integration of Global Safety Priorities and Local Business Priorities: Strategically aligning global safety priorities with the specific needs and objectives of the local business to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to patient safety.
- Engagement with Treating Physicians: Establishing and maintaining effective engagement with treating physicians to gather valuable safety information and foster a collaborative safety culture.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Cultivating strong and collaborative working relationships with various cross-functional teams within Roche Pharma India, including Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, and Commercial Operations.
- Leadership of Patient Safety Team: Providing strong and effective leadership to the Patient Safety team, including setting clear direction, managing performance, and fostering a high-performing and engaged team environment.
Qualifications
To be considered for this pivotal role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- MD (Medical Doctor), HCP (Healthcare Professional), PhD in Life Sciences, Master’s in Public Health (MPH), or a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Medicine.
- Significant and demonstrable pharmacovigilance (PV) experience at the affiliate level within the pharmaceutical industry.
- A strong leadership mindset characterized by a proactive focus on safety awareness, critical thinking, and effective decision-making.
Experience
Prior experience in medical functions such as Medical Affairs or Clinical Operations within the pharmaceutical industry will be considered a significant plus.
