About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Molecular Biologist to join our [research/laboratory/biotech] team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in molecular biology techniques and a passion for scientific discovery. This role involves planning and conducting experiments, analyzing genetic materials, and contributing to cutting-edge projects in [insert field, e.g., drug development, diagnostics, plant genetics, etc.]
Key Responsibilities:
● Design and perform molecular biology experiments including DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, cloning, and sequencing.
● Analyze genetic data and interpret experimental results.
● Maintain accurate lab records, write reports, and contribute to scientific publications or presentations.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams including bioinformatics, microbiology, and biochemistry.
● Operate and maintain lab equipment such as gel electrophoresis systems, spectrophotometers, and thermal cyclers.
● Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
● Stay updated with the latest scientific advancements in molecular biology.
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s/Master’s/Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Genetics, or a related field.
● Proven experience with molecular biology techniques (e.g., PCR, gel electrophoresis, DNA/RNA extraction).
● Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and genetic databases is a plus.
● Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
● Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
● Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience in [optional: CRISPR, NGS, cell culture, gene editing, etc.].
