Senior Research Associate-In-Vitro

Job Description
In Vitro Assay Execution and Management:
- Conduct a variety of in vitro assays such as Plasma Protein Binding, Brain/Kidney/ Hepatocytes/Microsomal Binding, Blood to Plasma Partitioning, and Physicochemical screening.
- Perform drug metabolism assays including CYP induction, CYP inhibition, phenotyping, enzyme kinetics, and time-dependent inhibition (TDI).
Drug Transporter Studies:
- Perform and interpret in vitro drug transporter studies (substrate and inhibitor) in recombinant cell lines or hepatocytes.
- Demonstrate knowledge of drug transporter sciences and apply it effectively in assay execution.
Cell Culture and Permeability Studies:
- Execute bi-directional permeability studies using Caco-2, MDCK, LLC-PK1, and its MDR1 or similar cell lines.
- Maintain cell cultures and troubleshoot issues related to culture maintenance.
PROTAC and ADC Chemistry Assays:
- Conduct in vitro assays related to PROTAC and ADC chemistry, ensuring accuracy and data integrity in study outcomes.
Data Analysis and Report Generation:
- Analyze data from in vitro assays and generate comprehensive reports, including result upload sheets.
- Perform data interpretation for ADME and Invitro Biology assay validation and establishment based on project needs.
Client Communication and Reporting:
- Effectively communicate assay results, reports, and study updates with clients via email and address client queries.
- Provide necessary input for Business Development feedback and collaborate on portfolio presentations and ADME services.
Project and Resource Management:
- Manage the execution of multiple studies and projects, controlling resources across projects, maintaining tracking sheets, and ensuring on-time completion.
- Coordinate with team members to meet internal and external deadlines, demonstrating task prioritization and time management.
Protocol Preparation and Knowledge Input:
- Prepare protocols, brochures, and presentations for ADME and Invitro Biology services.
- Contribute to Biology expansion plans and participate in business discussions to provide technical insights.
Instrument Maintenance and Lab Operations:
- Ensure proper completion of laboratory notebooks (LNBs), adherence to QUA guidelines, and proper updating of instrument logbooks.
- Perform routine maintenance of cell cultures and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth lab operations.
Inventory and Material Management:
- Ensure proper storage of client test articles and consumables, monitor stock status, and coordinate with colleagues for efficient inventory management.
Motivation and Skill Development:
- Demonstrate a high level of motivation, attention to detail, and self-management skills.
- Learn new techniques, stay updated on research methods, and continuously improve technical knowledge.
Qualifications
Ph.D. (Fresher) in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Lifesciences from reputed University or M.Sc (Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Lifesciences)
