Safety Science Coordinator II Fortrea Job Overview:
Assist with the overall Clinical Safety and/or PSS operations associated with products including the adverse events process. Responsible for managing and processing adverse events to the required standard and submitting them to clients and regulatory agencies within agreed timelines.
Qualifications (Minimum Required) for Safety Science Coordinator II Fortrea:
- 2 to 3 years of Pharmacovigilance experience.
- Experience in Clinical trial case processing.
- Degree in Biological Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical Sciences, Life Sciences, or related area preferred.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Process adverse event reports as per client/sponsor agreements.
- Manage receipt and processing of adverse event reports.
- Code adverse events using MedDRA and ensure appropriate medical review.
- Submission of expedited reports to various stakeholders.
- Assist in database reconciliation and quality review of reports.
- Maintain documentation and SOP compliance.
- Support with training and mentoring of team members.
Minimum Experience Required for Safety Science Coordinator II Fortrea:
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Windows applications.
Preferred Qualifications Include:
- Experience in office or remote environments.
- Mentoring skills preferred.
