New Product Development (Peptide Development)
Product Conception and Design:
- Researching and identifying market needs and opportunities for new peptide-based products.
- Developing and refining product concepts, including formulation, target applications, and desired characteristics.
- Conducting feasibility studies and prototyping to validate design concepts.
Development and Optimization:
- Leading the development of new peptide synthesis and purification methods.
- Optimizing peptide formulations and manufacturing processes.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., research, manufacturing, quality control) to ensure successful product development.
Testing and Validation:
- Performing rigorous testing and validation of peptide products to ensure quality, purity, and efficacy.
- Analyzing and interpreting data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensuring that all peptide products and processes comply with relevant regulatory standards and guidelines.
- Preparing and maintaining necessary documentation for regulatory submissions.
Project Management:
- Managing timelines, budgets, and resources for new product development projects.
- Tracking progress and identifying potential risks and issues.
Technical Expertise:
- Possessing a strong understanding of peptide chemistry, synthesis, and characterization techniques.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in peptide science and technology.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Effectively communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful product development and launch.
Product Launch:
- Supporting manufacturing teams during product launch and resolving any engineering issues that arise.
- Working with marketing and sales teams to develop product launch plans.
Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Ph.D. or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology).
Experience: Proven experience in peptide synthesis, characterization, and formulation.
Technical Skills: Expertise in peptide synthesis techniques (e.g., solid-phase peptide synthesis), purification methods (e.g., HPLC, RP-HPLC), and analytical techniques (e.g., mass spectrometry, NMR).
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Project Management Skills: Experience in managing complex projects and cross-functional teams.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards and guidelines.
