CSIR – Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysuru, a constituent National Laboratory of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), desires to engage qualified candidates as Project Scientist – I (GAP-654) purely on temporary contractual basis for the project entitled “Development and Preclinical evaluation of Lactoferrin and nutrients enriched colostrum milk based formulation targeting Iron deficiency Anemia in children and women” (GAP-654).

Stipend & HRA: Rs.56000/- pm +20% HRA
The engagement is initially for a period up to 1 year and extendable up to 3 years based on the requirement of the project and performance of the candidate or till the end of project duration, whichever is earlier at the Department of Biochemistry, CSIR-CFTRI, Mysuru, Karnataka.
Essential Qualification:
Post Graduate (PG) Degree including the Integrated PG degree in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/Lifesciences
Job Requirements:
To carry out R&D work with respect to the project objectives involving Biochemical analysis, Molecular Biology, Food Formulation, Cell culture, Handling preclinical models, basic instrumentation techniques
