ICON plc is seeking a Clinical Trial Manager to join our team and take on the responsibility for study commitments within the country. The ideal candidate will lead local study teams, ensure compliance with regulations, and oversee various aspects of clinical trial management.
Responsibilities:
Study Team Leadership and Management
- Lead Local Study Team(s) consisting of monitors and study administrator(s).
- Optimize the performance of the local Study Team(s) at the country level.
- Proactively identify and resolve complex study problems and issues.
Study Planning and Coordination
- Contribute to patient recruitment strategy and communication with Investigators.
- Plan and lead national Investigator meetings.
- Ensure timely submission of all required documents to regulatory authorities.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Ensure study activities comply with local policies, guidelines, and code of conduct.
- Participate in activities associated with audits and regulatory inspections.
- Provide input to process development and improvement.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of Clinical Trial Management experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of onsite clinical monitoring experience.
- Excellent knowledge of international guidelines (ICH/GCP) and local regulations.
- Good communication skills in spoken and written English.
Functional Location: Based in Bangalore
