Chemist Production Job Details:
Designation: Chemist Production
Location: Nanjangud, Mysore
Qualification: Degree
in Science / Graduate Engineers – Chemical/Diploma in Chemical Engineering (Chemistry/Chemical/PCM/Bio-Chemistry)Experience: 1-5 Years in relevant experience from API industry only
Key Responsibilities
Intermediate/Clean Room/SRP:
-
Producing Intermediates and API according to pre-approved instructions and documenting the process as per BPR guidelines.

Performing cleaning activities and recording the same in BCR documents for Chemist Production roles.

Ensuring cleanliness and disinfection of Intermediate/Pharma/SRP areas and equipment.

Updating equipment status online and identifying and labeling accessories, ensuring smooth production in Jubilant Pharmova’s Chemist Production team.

Verifying interlocks in equipment to identify abnormalities and associated risks.
Material Handling:
-
Receiving raw materials and storing them correctly in the designated place in the Chemist Production department.

Handling the storage of intermediates/API in the correct location and maintaining cleanliness in the storage areas.

Following the SOPs for material handling and ensuring proper documentation is completed by the Chemist Production team.
Documentation:
-
Indenting, receiving, and issuing required documents within timelines for Chemist Production tasks.

Maintaining accurate and contemporaneous records for calibration documents and process documentation.

Ensuring timely submission of completed documents and records related to the Chemist Production position.
Safety, Health, and Environment:

Monitoring the environmental conditions in the process area for safety compliance in the Chemist Production role.
