As a Senior Biomarker Biostatistician at Sanofi, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing advanced statistical and machine learning algorithms to tackle complex challenges and drive insights from clinical biomarker data. Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure data accessibility, reliability, and optimization for analysis, leveraging your expertise in omics data and machine learning.
Job Title: Senior BioStatistician Biomarker
Location: Hyderabad
Grade: L2-1
Main responsibilities:
- Provide crucial input on TM/Biomarker aspects for clinical study design
- Coordinate activities with external partners and CROs for biomarker data generation
- Perform pre-processing and normalization of biomarker data
- Conduct exploratory biomarker data analyses and ad-hoc analyses as needed
About you:
Experience:
- 2+ years (Master) or 1+ years (PhD) of pharmaceutical or related industry experience
Soft and technical skills:
- Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical clinical development
- Good knowledge and good understanding of key statistical concepts and techniques, in particular high-dimensional statistics
- Good knowledge in handling complex biomarker data (e.g., RNAseq, scRNAseq, Olink, flow cytometry data etc.)), knowledge in pathway level and network analyses is a plus.
- This combination of skills will enable the effective analysis and interpretation of intricate biological data.
- Able to work in departmental computing environment, do advanced statistical analyses using R&R-Shiny and possibly other languages (python, C++, …)
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills and able to work in cross functional and global team setting
Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Bioinformatics, Statistics, or a related field.
Languages: Excellent communication in English, both oral and written
