About the Role:
Elucidata is actively seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Bioinformatics Analyst to become a valuable member of our dynamic bioinformatics delivery team. In this crucial role, you will be instrumental in the analysis of diverse multi-omics biological datasets, the development of innovative bioinformatics tools and pipelines, and the provision of insightful scientific solutions through the application of cutting-edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Bioinformatics Analyst at Elucidata, your responsibilities will include:
- Efficiently ingesting, meticulously curating, and rigorously analyzing various biological data types utilizing APIs, robust ETL pipelines, and sophisticated machine learning models.
- Developing and continuously optimizing bioinformatics pipelines to streamline data analysis processes and enhance data visualization capabilities.
- Collaborating closely with customers to effectively address complex biological problems through the insightful application of multi-omics and clinical data.
- Communicating scientific and technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in analyzing diverse multi-omics data (e.g., genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics).
- Demonstrated proficiency in Python and other relevant programming languages commonly used in bioinformatics (e.g., R).
- Practical experience working with public omics data repositories and utilizing version control systems such as GitHub.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
