Job Description
- Conduct lab and field trials for business and new development projects.
- Assist in managing Sealed Air Food Packaging portfolio from I&D, including maintaining regulatory compliance.
- Manage food packaging samples, lab equipment, etc., by maintaining records and ensuring proper replenishment.
- Conduct validation trials, generate databases, and create project/trial reports.
- Conduct research to find solutions for defined opportunities or problems identified by the organization, including scouting new technologies and solutions from external partners and online resources to help provide solutions for customers.
- Carry out package and materials performance testing.
- Create and present reports on development, experiments, and testing conducted.
- Participate in both lab and field trials for new development, troubleshooting, and demonstrations preferred for Associate Scientist.
- Monitor daily project activities, ensuring deadlines and expectations are met.
- Ensure health and safety in the workplace, following good housekeeping rules both in and out of the office area.
- Maintain and improve technical skills related to designs and design technologies.
Qualifications for Associate Scientist:
- M. Tech/B. Tech in Food Technology/Material Science/Chemical
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in R&D
- Experience in Food Processing Industries would be advantageous
- Flexible travel domestically as and when needed.
- Highly motivated, self-initiating, creative and inquisitive minded individual.
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills and a work ethic
- Having soft skills like MS Office, project writing, etc
