Job Description
Position Summary:
The Analyst II External Data Acquisition Expert is
a role for an experienced individual contributor with expertise in data acquisition practices and technologies. This position focuses on setting up and managing External Data Stream systems at the trial level to contribute to the J&J R&D portfolio. The role involves working independently, leading, and potentially mentoring others.Principal Responsibilities:
- Planning and executing data acquisition activities effectively
- Maintaining functional planning systems
- Managing issue escalations
- Risk management
- Development of departmental policies and procedures
- Vendor contract management
- Engagement in industry forums and working groups
- Supporting data acquisition aspects of regulatory agency inspections
Role-Specific Responsibilities:
- Setup and maintenance of External Data Streams within trials
- Development of trial-specific data transfer agreements & specifications
- Verification of data transfers
- Setup of automated data ingestion into the clinical data repository
Education and Experience Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience in Pharmaceutical, CRO, or Biotech industry. Strong communication and technical skills are essential.
