Applications are invited for the following temporary/contractual post in the Research Project entitled “Advanced Centre for Clinical Evaluation of Diagnostics of National Importance” (project code- I1767) funded by CAR-ICMR, Government of India, in the Department of Biophysics, AIIMS New Delhi.

Name of the position: Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) (One)

Essential Qualifications:

First Class Post Graduate Degree or PhD with second class, including the integrated PG degrees in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences and Biochemistry.

Desirable:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in cell biology, molecular biology, immunology and IVD (In-vitro Diagnostics) assays. Gradient PCR, RT-PCR, primer design, quantification, genotyping, Western Blotting, ELISA, Immunophenotyping and immunoblot.
• Experience in IVD device research and development. Molecular imaging techniques (brightfield, and fluorescent).
• Large data management, data analysis, compilation of data files and programming.
• Software handling: GraphPad Prism, Sigma Plot, MS Excel and IBM SPSS software.
• Experience in grant writing, proposal development, concept development, budget preparations, and cost sharing evaluations. The candidate should be motivated, committed and should be able to contribute independently and in a team.
• Good communication/managerial skills.

Salary:

Duration of the project: 3 years

AGE LIMIT: 35 Years
