Senior Analyst Job – Veeda Lifesciences
JOB DESCRIPTION
Functional Role: Sr. Analyst
Qualification: MSc., B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Pharm.D (RA)
CTC: 2.5 LPA – 6 LPA
Location: Gujarat and Maharashtra
Job Purpose
Perform analysis using LC/MS/MS of various samples (Pharmaceutical Drugs) coming from Clinical Laboratory/from Sponsor sites for BA/BE studies and document analysis data, in a time-bound manner as per SOP.
Primary Responsibility
Perform Analysis
- Collect samples from the Custodian.
- Process samples using various extraction techniques.
- Prepare and verify batch sequences with the LIMS Operator.
- Perform LCMS analysis following GXP guidelines.
- Understand Mass Spectrometry, ESI, APCI, chiral chromatography, and polar columns.
- Conduct sample extraction using LLE, SPE, and PPT.
- Handle stability issues and derivatization processes.
Documentation and Compliance
- Receive and manage controlled forms.
- Perform online documentation of trials, validation, and log entries per SOP.
- Ensure all activities are documented as per SOP.
- Investigate abnormalities and draft regulatory responses.
- Review documentation by Jr. Analysts/Freshers.
- Address QC and QA findings promptly.
Research & Development
- Review literature and pharmacopeia guidelines.
- Conduct validation experiments as per protocol.
- Develop and troubleshoot analytical methods.
- Proficient in Excel and MS Word.
Equipment Calibration
- Calibrate lab equipment like micro-pipettes, analytical balance, pH meter, evaporators, Roto spin extractor, centrifuge, and Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) Assembly performance check as and when required.
- Coordinate with an engineer for any breakdowns pertaining to Lab equipment.
Training
- Coordinate, assist, and support in on-the-job training for freshers.
- Provide regulatory guidelines and thorough training on SOPs.
- Enhance presentation skills and awareness of regulatory updates and latest guidance.
- Understand GCP and GLP requirements and their awareness.
- Follow general biosafety procedures and emergency procedures.
- Knowledge of organization policies and values.
