Syngene Senior Research Investigator Job Purpose
We are seeking a motivated PhD level scientist to join the Translational Medicine team at the Biocon Bristol Myers Squibb Research Center in Bangalore, India. The key responsibilities of this role include serving as a scientific lead for preclinical support of
asset programs, conducting mechanism of action-based studies, and guiding laboratory scientists to generate data in support of clinical development decisions.Key Responsibilities of Syngene Senior Research Investigator
- Conduct preclinical/laboratory experiments on late-stage BMS portfolio compounds
- Deliver data to support translational strategies including biomarkers and patient selection hypotheses
- Manage laboratory scientists and integrate clinical questions into lab-based translational research
- Create and present reports on experimental findings
- Assist in managing collaborative projects and budget planning
Educational Qualification of Syngene Senior Research Investigator
PhD with experience in immunology, oncology, or heme-oncology; drug development experience in hematology will be an advantage.
Technical Skills

- Excellent communication and managerial abilities
- Proficiency in cell culture, research, gene expression analysis, protein assays, and in vivo pharmacology models
