“Identification and functional characterization of transcription factors regulating capsaicinoid biosynthesis in the extremely pungent Bhut Jolokia (Capsicum chinense).”
Eligibility & Qualifications for Senior Research Fellow Position
Educational Qualification:
- M.Sc in any branch of Biological Sciences/Bioinformatics
- Minimum two years of research experience
- CSIR/UGC/NET/GATE qualification is mandatory
Desirable Skills for Senior Research Fellow Position:
Candidates with prior experience in:
- Protein extraction & expression analysis
- Basic molecular biology techniques
- RNA-seq analysis
- Plant transformation & tissue culture
- Plant metabolite analysis
Fellowship & Tenure:
Fellowship Amount: ₹35,000 + Permissible House Rent Allowance (HRA)
Tenure: Temporary position, renewable annually until March 2026, based on performance
