Job Title: Senior R&D Scientist Upstream
Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
The Senior R&D Scientist Upstream, Fast Trak Process Design and Validation Services, will be responsible for planning and executing the technical portion of R&D development or improvement projects related to upstream process development. This role involves collaborating with various departments, defining technical requirements, planning and executing technical studies, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
What you’ll do:
- Lead innovation projects and collaborate with project managers
- Define technical requirements for new service/product designs
- Plan, execute, and report on technical studies
- Design and conduct verification/validation studies
- Provide laboratory compliance support
Who you are:
You have a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in molecular/biology/biochemistry/bioengineering (or related fields) with at least 5 years of experience in leading technical projects. You are highly motivated, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously across multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience in aseptic laboratory methods, Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), and biotechnology unit operations is a plus.
