Job Purpose of Senior Nutritional Research Associate:
We are the Global Business Units in Beauty & Wellbeing and are made up of the two fast-growing units: Health & Wellbeing (H&W) and Prestige. We are focused on two of Unilever’s largest growth opportunities – the €140bn Health & Wellbeing space and the growing premium hair and skin care segments.
Job Responsibilities:
The Nutrition Scientist/Associate will play a crucial role in the Nutritional Sciences and Innovation team, providing key support for ingredient substantiation and nutrition education to the broader Global Health and Wellbeing team.
Key Accountabilities of Senior Nutritional Research Associate:
- Develop Nutrition Education Content for the Global Health and Wellbeing Team
- Identify and validate new ingredients for the Health and Wellbeing portfolio
- Support evidence-based ingredient choice for product design and launches
- Identify and define global and local claims for Health and Wellbeing category
- Lead regional and local claims dossier submission
- Translate nutrition science into compelling consumer communication and product opportunities
- Support evidence-generation activities and scientific engagement
Requirements to Succeed:
The role requires the ability to translate science into business applications, strong people skills, and a passion for innovation. Key standards of leadership and behaviors are necessary for success in this position.
Qualifications of Senior Nutritional Research Associate:
- 3+ years of industry experience in healthcare, consumer goods, or related fields
- Master’s degree in nutrition science, food science, or similar discipline
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work in a team-based environment
