Job Description for Senior Biostatistician :
Merck Group seeks an experienced Senior Biostatistician to contribute statistical expertise to clinical research and development. The role involves:
- Acting as a statistical subject matter expert at the study team level.
- Providing statistical input for concept sheets, protocols, and CRF development to ensure accurate study design, patient randomization, and data integrity.
- Authoring and reviewing statistical analysis plans, defining appropriate methodologies, and ensuring accurate data presentation.
- Conducting or overseeing statistical analyses and ensuring vendor compliance.
- Writing comprehensive statistical methods sections for clinical study reports and ensuring accurate statistical interpretation preferred for Senior Biostatistician.
- Performing ad-hoc analyses and standard project reporting as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with global biostatistics WIs/SOPs and relevant standards.
- Acting as a bridge between programming and statistics for complex analyses.
Who You Are:
Qualification:
- MS in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related discipline.
- 3-4 years of relevant experience or PhD with no prior experience.
Key Skills for Senior Biostatistician:
- Proficiency in SAS and R.
- Strong understanding of clinical therapeutic areas.
