Job Title: Scientific Writing Intern

Work Location: Biotecnika Headquarters, Bangalore

Job Type: Intern, Full Time, leading to a Full-time permanent Content Editor Role at Biotecnika upon confirmation

Working Hours: 9 Hours per day, 5 Working Days

Stipend: Rs 10,000 pm

Key Responsibilities

Scientific Writing and Research:

• Conduct thorough research on various topics related to life sciences and biotechnology.
• Generate content ideas and pitch them to the editorial team.
• Write and edit articles, news stories, scientific notes, Creatives, social media posts and other types of content.
• Ensure all content is accurate, well-written, and adheres to Biotecnika’s editorial guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to generate content for social media and other digital platforms.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in life sciences and biotechnology.
• Meet deadlines and ensure timely delivery of content.

Digital Skills and Tools Utilization:

• Social Media Engagement: Utilize LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube to increase visibility and engage relevant audiences.
• Email Marketing and Web Presence: Implement email marketing strategies and maintain an active website.
• Data Mining and Analysis: Employ analytical tools to gather information on target audiences, including email addresses and LinkedIn profiles, and trade show participation.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in life sciences, biotechnology, or a related field.
• Proven passion and ability for writing and must be a voracious reader.
• Strong research skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of scientific writing and digital content creation.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing concepts.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Enthusiasm for learning about industry trends.
