About the Job:
Sanofi Global Hub (SGH) is an internal resource organization established in India to centralize processes and activities supporting Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, CHC, CMO, and R&D, Data & Digital functions. SGH aims to be a strategic and functional partner for tactical deliveries to Medical, HEVA, and Commercial organizations globally.

Main Responsibilities for Scientific Writer at Sanofi:

  • Create specialized content with minimal supervision.
  • Manage end-to-end publication/medical education content development, including documentation and approvals in PromoMats/Datavision/MATRIX.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in assigned therapeutic areas.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and peers to establish best practices.

Key Responsibilities for Scientific Writer at Sanofi:
People:

  • Build and maintain relationships with the medical scientific community.
  • Interact effectively with healthcare professionals for publication content.
  • Assist and mentor other writers in knowledge development and expertise sharing.

Performance:

  • Develop publication/medical education materials (e.g., slide decks, abstracts, posters, manuscripts) with high quality and within agreed timelines.
  • Provide strategic support to individuals and institutions involved in publications.

Process for Scientific Writer at Sanofi:

  • Develop complex publication/medical education materials.
  • Support medical communications and develop subject matter expertise.
  • Conduct publication-needs analysis and implement relevant elements of publication plans.
  • Collaborate with selected vendors to deliver high-quality content as per defined processes.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Work closely with scientific communication teams to identify publication needs.
  • Coordinate with Product Managers, MSLs, and the medical department to prepare customized deliverables.

Qualification for Scientific Writer at Sanofi:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in content creation for the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry or academia.
  • Soft Skills: Strong stakeholder management, excellent communication, and ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Technical Skills: Therapeutic area/domain knowledge, publication submission expertise, and/or project management.
  • Education: Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related discipline, or a medical degree.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
