The Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine (inStem), an autonomous institute under the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council (BRIC), Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, is inviting online applications for the position of Project Scientist – I on a short-term contract basis.
Position Details
Position: Project Scientist – I (Temporary)
Age Limit: Up to 35 years
Number of Posts: 1
Monthly Remuneration:
- ₹56,000 + HRA (For Ph.D. holders)
- ₹42,000 + HRA (For thesis-submitted candidates)
Eligibility & Qualifications
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. (or thesis
submitted) in Stem Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, Cell Biology, or Molecular Biology from a recognized university.Desirable: 1-2 years of post-Ph.D. research experience.
Key Skills & Experience:
Candidates should have expertise in:
- Stem Cell Culture & Quality Control
- Human Stem Cell Differentiation & Organoid Development
- Microscopy Sample Preparation & Imaging
- Molecular Biology Techniques – Cloning, Nucleic Acid Isolation, RT-PCR, Sequencing
- Experiment Planning & Data Analysis
- Project Updates, Literature Survey & Presentation
Tenure & Work Conditions
Tenure: Initial appointment for 11 months, extendable based on performance.
Employment Type: Full-time (No parallel assignments allowed).
