Role and Responsibilities for Postdoctoral Fellow at IIT:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting experiments using lung cancer mouse models.
- Performing bulk and single-cell RNA sequencing on mouse and human samples.
- Carrying out cell-based oncogenesis assays and characterizing cancer stem cells.
- Developing chemotherapy-resistant cell lines preferred for Postdoctoral Fellow at IIT.
- Handling tissue harvest, processing, and downstream analysis.
- Preparing progress reports, manuscripts, and grants.
- Procuring equipment and reagents and training team members.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum Qualification: PhD in molecular cancer biology.
- Candidates must be willing to work with experimental mice and travel domestically (10-20%) for Postdoctoral Fellow at IIT.
Desirable Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of post-PhD experience.
- Proficiency in handling experimental rodent models, flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, and RNA sequencing data analysis.

- Maximum age: 45 years (Relaxation applicable as per Central Government norms).
