Key Responsibilities
Content Development & Publications
- Develop specialized medical content under supervision.
- Support end-to-end publication and medical education content development, documentation, and approval in PromoMats/iEnvision (formerly Datavision/MATRIX).
- Maintain and enhance therapeutic area expertise.
- Collaborate with team members to implement best practices in content creation.
- Work effectively with stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain effective relationships with the medical and scientific community within the assigned Global Business Unit and product category.
- Interact with healthcare professionals to develop impactful publication content.
- Support fellow medical writers by sharing expertise and best practices.
Performance & Strategy Support
- Deliver high-quality publication and medical education materials (e.g., slide decks, abstracts, posters, manuscripts) within agreed timelines.
- Provide strategic support by collaborating with key institutions and individuals to enhance scientific publications.
Process Optimization
- Assist in conducting comprehensive publication needs analysis for assigned therapeutic areas.
- Develop and execute publication plans aligned with regional strategies.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely and compliant deliverables.
- Gather and implement user feedback to enhance content quality.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with scientific communication teams to identify content requirements.
- Work closely with Product Managers, MSLs, and medical departments to create relevant, customized deliverables.
Qualifications & Skills for Medical Content Writer Job at Sanofi
- Experience: Up to 2 years of experience in medical content writing for the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Education: Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related discipline, or a Medical Degree.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of therapeutic areas, publication submission, and project management.
- Soft Skills: Strong stakeholder management, communication skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Languages: Excellent spoken and written English.
