Walk-in interview for the position of Project Associate in a project to be undertaken in the Centre for Climate and Environmental Studies at IISER Kolkata.

Salary: Rs 31,000 + HRA per month (as applicable)
Age Limit: Must not be over 35 years as on 31st March 2025, which can be relaxed for certain reserved categories as per Government of India rules. Relaxation in age, educational qualifications, or experience may be considered in case of exceptionally meritorious candidates.
Background of the Project: The Centre for Marine Therapeutics (CMT) intends to undertake biodiscovery of novel microbes from coastal oceans and harness their potential for therapeutics. The position will be initially for a period of one year and may be extended based on satisfactory performance. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/MVSc or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or Medicine from a recognized university or equivalent. Experience
with conducting field sampling activities in aquatic systems or biodiscovery of microbes would be welcome. Prior experience in analytical chemistry would also be welcome.Walk-in Interview: 31st March 2025
