Sanofi Business Operations (BO) is an internal Sanofi resource organization set up to centralize processes supporting Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, CMO, and R&D, Data & Digital functions. BO aims to be a strategic partner for Medical, HEVA, and Commercial organizations globally.

Main Responsibilities

Scientific Engagement

  • Support the development and execution of integrated scientific engagement strategies.
  • Ensure timely execution of scientific dissemination, expert engagement, and multi-channel engagement plans.
  • Identify and implement new multi-channel initiatives to enhance customer experience.
  • Track and leverage emerging digital technologies for scientific and medical learning.
  • Support expert/KOL mapping activities, identifying and segmenting key opinion leaders.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders, KOLs, academic societies, and advocacy groups.
  • Attend medical meetings, advisory boards, and outreach meetings to gain scientific insights.
  • Oversee scientific congresses, events, advisory boards, and compliance requirements.

Scientific Publications and Medical Communications

  • Develop and execute strategic scientific publication plans and medical communication activities.
  • Plan and propose content deliverables aligned with medical strategy.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality medical communication resources, including manuscripts, posters, symposia materials, webinars, and congress-related content.
  • Provide oversight for publication and communication projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.
  • Guide internal and external scientific writers and stakeholders on content development.
  • Maintain compliance with international publication and medical communication regulations.
  • Analyze content usage data to enhance medical content development.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Integrate customer insights into strategies to support medical and business priorities.
  • Drive innovation in content formats and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally within a matrix organization for knowledge sharing.
  • Manage budgets, financial forecasting, and vendor relationships as needed.

People Responsibilities

  • Maintain relationships with medical affairs, marketing, regulatory affairs, and scientific communities.
  • Interact effectively with internal teams and healthcare professionals.
  • Guide and mentor scientific writers.

Performance Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development of publication and medical education materials.
  • Provide strategic input for publication and medical communication activities.
  • Ensure successful execution of goals within compliance guidelines.

Process Responsibilities

  • Support publication and medical communication planning and execution.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in assigned therapeutic areas.
  • Assist in conducting publication needs analysis and defining yearly communication plans.
  • Manage relationships with vendors to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Leverage advanced training tools to improve content delivery.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with global and local medical teams to identify publication needs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for customized deliverables.

About You

  • Experience: 5+ years in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry with expertise in scientific publication and medical communications.
  • Soft Skills: Strong collaboration, stakeholder engagement, strategic thinking, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Understanding of clinical trials, real-world evidence, industry guidelines, and digital communication tools.
  • Education: Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related field; CMPP certification is desirable.
  • Languages: Excellent English (spoken and written).
