Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Microbiologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing microbiological testing, monitoring environmental conditions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct microbiological testing of raw materials, finished products, and water samples.
• Perform environmental monitoring in cleanrooms and production areas.
• Identify and classify microorganisms using microbiological techniques.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment such as incubators, autoclaves, and microscopes.
• Document experimental data, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records.
• Assist in sterility testing, endotoxin testing, and microbial limit testing.
• Follow SOPs, regulatory guidelines (USFDA, EMEA, ICH), and company quality policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production.
• Support audits and inspections by regulatory agencies.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related field OR B.Pharm./ M.Pharm.

Experience: 0-3 years of experience in a microbiology laboratory (freshers can also apply).

Technical Skills:

• Hands-on experience with microbial culture techniques, Gram staining, and microbial identification.
• Understanding of sterility testing, bioburden testing, and environmental monitoring.
• Knowledge of GMP, GLP, ICH, and regulatory guidelines is preferred.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good documentation and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
