Associate STEM Content Analyst – BioChem – CPI
We are looking for an Associate STEM Content Analyst to join our Abstraction team (IP Operations) in Noida. This is an amazing opportunity to work on Derwent products. The team consists of 100+ colleagues. We have a great skill set in life sciences and engineering, and we would love to speak with you if you have comprehensive knowledge in the respective technology domain.
About You
- Should be a recent graduate in MSc (Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry), B.Tech/M.Tech (Biotechnology), Chemistry, or Medicinal Chemistry.
- Can be a fresher (preferred) or a talent with one year of experience in content abstraction or editing.
It will be great if you also had…
- Certification in typing
- Extensive knowledge about patents and drafting
- Great English comprehension skills
What will you be doing in this role?
- Prepare abstracts for patents in accordance with set rules defined in the DWPI Abstracting Policy document.
- Perform detailed analysis of patents to provide accurate and editorially enhanced technical information in the form of a summary, including descriptive title, uses, novel features, advantages, and other key information related to the invention.
- Capture useful insights from patent data to generate an editorially enhanced technical summary of patent records.
- Use Clarivate-specific tools for content editing, abstraction, and curation.
About the Team
The Abstraction Team in IP Operations is responsible for the enrichment and curation of high-quality content sets, while adhering to individual and team goals, production targets, and defined quality standards. We analyze patents to create and deliver value-added content that enhances the research value of Patent Intelligence products and customers of Clarivate.
Hours of Work (Permanent Role)
Full-time – 9 am to 6 pm IST (including a one-hour break)
