Job Location: Sahibabad Industrial Area, Ghaziabad (UP)
Preferred Qualifications (Full time): Must have a B.Sc. in Microbiology along with a Ph.D. (Mandatory)
Experience Range and Knowledge: 3 – 5 Years post-Ph.D. experience
Job Responsibilities as Associate Research Scientist
- Supervise and conduct microbiological testing of different compounds or materials to support the development of antimicrobial products.
- Supervise and conduct isolation and characterization of microbes from any sample.
- Develop and maintain validation in all protocols for various analyses
- Maintain microbial bank, literature, and knowledge of various research methods
- Design and execute experiments for new product development
- Data management, present results, and discuss conclusions within the context of ongoing research programs
- Maintain inventory of materials and supplies for the microbiology lab
- Maintain good laboratory practices and complete documentation control
- Guide and mentor colleagues, juniors, and trainees
- Exposure and experience in preparing and delivering technical presentations and writing scientific articles
- Prepare, check, and maintain documents for ISO/IEC 17025 & ISO 9001, Lab safety & GLP
- Willing to travel and stay for 2-3 days outside Delhi/NCR to project sites
Other Skill Set / Competency Required for Associate Research Scientist Job:
Various skills, including laboratory techniques, molecular techniques, experiment design, data analysis, ISO standards, communication skills, and more.
