About the Team:
The Biometrics Commercial Support Services (BCSS) team provides global services related to developing proposals for Data Management and Biostatistics projects. This includes strategy development and pricing. The team collaborates with Sales, Proposals, Strategic Pricing, Finance, Data Management Operations, and Biostatistics Operations to optimize project plans.
Apprenticeship Summary:
The Apprentice will perform entry-level departmental functions, adhering to Fortrea and sponsor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will assist senior team members in developing and pricing proposals and contribute to operational improvements and performance tracking. This includes:
- Following departmental processes for team allocation, pricing, and proposal development.
- Creating reports and tracking key performance metrics.
- Analyzing pricing methodology and effectiveness.
- Maintaining departmental knowledge systems.
- Supporting senior team members in pricing new opportunities and change orders.
Education/Qualifications/Skills:
Education: University/college degree in life sciences , health sciences, information technology, or related subjects; or certification in allied health professions from 1 an accredited institution
Skills:
- Demonstrated computer literacy, including basic understanding of programming (e.g., VBA, R, Python, SAS).
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and clinical research.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
Detailed Job Description:
The Apprentice within the Biometrics Commercial Support Services (BCSS) team will gain hands-on experience in the commercial aspects of biometrics within clinical research.
