Senior Scientist (Cancer Biology)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Functional Role: Senior Scientist
Qualification:
- Postdoc (2+ yrs) in Multi-Omics Cancer Research or
- PhD (5+ yrs) in Cancer Multi-Omics
CTC: 28 LPA – 30 LPA
Location: Chennai
Senior Scientist – Cancer Genomics & Precision Oncology
Responsibilities:
- Research: Conduct molecular biology and sequencing experiments, develop biomarker assays, and study transcriptomics, epigenetics, tumor microenvironment, and hereditary cancers. Stay updated on advancements in functional genomics and oncology research.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including wet lab scientists, bioinformaticians, clinicians, and external partners, to align research goals and streamline workflows.
- Communication: Present research findings, hypotheses, and clinical data clearly in reports and discussions.
- Training & Mentorship: Guide junior scientists, troubleshoot assays, and implement novel techniques. May supervise lab technologists.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Develop pipelines for multi-omics sequencing data interpretation and generate meaningful reports.
- Documentation: Maintain SOPs, clinical genomics sequencing data, and experiment records.
- Growth & Participation: Engage in training programs, research publications, external workshops, and team-building activities.

Qualification and Experience Required:
- Postdoctoral with about 2 years of experience handling Multi-Omics Cancer Research or
- PhD with about 5 years of experience in Cancer Multi-Omics.
