Job Description
Role Title: Scientist – Manufacturing

- Reports to: Specialist – Manufacturing
- Direct Reports: Individual contributor
Role Summary
This role will be responsible for core activities in manufacturing operations of cell & gene therapies and lentivirus, including CAR T manufacturing, GMP documentation, GMP equipment oversight, inventory management, QMS compliance, and supplier communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing and manufacturing of CAR T-cells from patient apheresis samples for Clinical trials and commercial samples.
- Compliance with QMS requirements in manufacturing processes, documentation, and facility.
- Manage online monitoring data and documentation.
Primary Objectives
- Successful manufacturing of commercial and CAR T batches.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of manufacturing goals.
Competencies Required
- Technical Competencies: Aseptic processing techniques, GMP working knowledge, cell expansion techniques.
- Soft Skills: Team player, ethical, detail-oriented.
Qualifications
- Degree (PhD / MSc. / MTech preferred) in Cell Biology/ Lifesciences/Biochemistry/Molecular Biology, or Biotechnology.
- Preferred 2 years experience in CAR T, Cell, and Gene Therapy manufacturing in GMP & related disciplines.
Working Conditions
- Role Type: Full Time and Onsite
- Work Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM for the General Shift.
- Base Location: Bangalore – 560099
