? Then read on!We are currently seeking a Research Technician – II, responsible for conducting research and development activities in Flow Cytometry for developing flow cytometry products. The role will contribute to the product launch of immunophenotyping panels, including feasibility studies, development of protocols, and analytical methods for testing multicolor panels for L&L.
This role also demands basic to moderate experience in flow cytometry fundamentals, data analysis, hands-on experience with single-color & multicolor flow cytometry assays, problem-solving skills, and familiarity with analytical techniques. It also involves technology transfer to deliver consistent and cost-effective production processes to GMP manufacturing. The incumbent participates in executing studies for the development, evolution, and optimization of product design; maintains well-organized laboratory notebooks in compliance with relevant procedures; and supports post-launch activities to resolve performance and/or quality issues. This is an individual contributor role.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Boundary Conditions/Authority Levels: Receives instruction on routine work.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducts day-to-day experiments as per the plan.
- Performs routine analysis of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods under supervision and according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Provides feedback on instrument, software, and reagent performance to the technical lead.
- Responsible for routine instrument operation and maintenance.
- Records experimental data in laboratory notebooks or case report forms.
- Participates and performs investigations related to the testing performed.
The required qualifications for the job include:
- Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years or Master’s degree with 1 to 2 years of related experience (Cell Biology, Biotechnology, Immunology).
- Flow cytometry-related experience in instrument maintenance, operation, data collection & analysis, QC, etc.
- Specimen handling experience, including whole blood, bone marrow, body fluids, and antibody cocktail preparation.
