Role: Sr Research Data Analyst.
Location: IIT BHU
Experience: 5 to 10 years
Salary: 5 LPA to 10 LPA
Minimum Qualifications:
- M.Sc. in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biostatistics, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience in data analysis is preferred, but individuals who are willing to
learn are also welcomed.
Candidates should have familiarity or experience in the following:
Data Management & Organization:
- Ability to systematically maintain, organize, and summarize experimental data.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Adherence to data privacy regulations and ethical handling of research data.
Data Processing & Statistical Analysis:
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software such as R, Python, or SPSS.
- Understanding of data normalization, statistical significance testing, and visualization
techniques. - Experience in quality control and verification of research data.
Data Visualization & Reporting:
- Proficiency in creating visual reports using tools like Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or
Matplotlib. - Ability to summarize complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience in preparing reports, scientific manuscripts, and presentations.
Regulatory Guidelines & Compliance:
- Familiarity with Good Data Practices (GDP) and research regulatory compliance.
- Understanding of laboratory data confidentiality and secure data storage practices.
- Ability to follow institutional and government regulations regarding research data
management.
Experience & Skills:
- Hands-on experience in research data analysis is preferred, but candidates eager to
learn are encouraged to apply. - Strong problem-solving skills to interpret experimental results and optimize data workflows.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with research teams and present findings.
- Commitment to maintaining the secrecy and confidentiality of research data.
